I was pleased with a piece on Christmas, which was publish'd
in your paper last year at that time, and would add a few
thoughts of mine upon the same subject, consider'd a view
somewhat different, which if you'll admit to a place in your
paper you'll oblige, [signed] A.B. . . [1/2 column] This
is truly matter of the highest joy and triumph to us, and
the sympathizing angels could not forbear their kind
congratulations on this wonderful instance of divine wisdom
and goodness, which they celebrated with hymns of praise . .
. I shall close these reflections with the following hymn.
A HYMN.
  Begin the high celestial strain,
  My ravish'd soul, and sing
A solemn hymn of grateful praise,
  To heav'n's almighty King.
. . . [28 lines with references to harmony and song]
